In case you like fountain pen hacks, my friend JMC recently successfully installed a Pilot Parallel nib in the section of a Majohn/Moonman Wancai Mini eyedropper. It's a small pen but you're supposed to post the cap. The cap has enough space to close over the parallel nib.

@paradoxmo JMC likes to try it with eyedroppers. He doesn't have the C4 or M2, but if they have a standard section diameter he'd probably try it!

My mother never tells me when she's received a package on my behalf. I am left to discover the notification on my app, ask all the staff, turn the house upside down looking for it. Then my mother finds it under a bush in the garden, because she put it down for a while and forgot all about it while distracted, watering the plants. I love her, but told her it's so very stressful that way.

@Tae156 There was a long time I couldn't stand Fake Love. I don't understand why, but I just couldn't mesh with it. Then the more I watched it on Youtube, the more it grew on me. Maybe because of Jungkook's abs. Hahaha.

I'm still very surprised at how much the campus has changed in recent years. Gyud Food Market, a huge food court with a variety of offerings that are sortaaa above student budget, was unimaginable during my undergraduate days.

Ooh, how nice. My friend Corito is organizing a Flores de Mayo-themed pen meet! We are supposed to bring pens, inks, stationery and related accessories decorated with/inspired by/colored like flowers! That's this Saturday! Will see if I can go. But if I can't, I'm sure they'll post photos. People who don't have flower-themed pens are still welcome!

What is this practice of influencers gendering foods? @/cheesesexdeath on IG is a great account but I get annoyed by her referring to cheeses as "her". So I just turn off the audio and just watch the reel.

I read a 2yo comment on a subreddit, about Stationhead and how it's why music popularity for the artists isn't "truly organic". Part of the comment mentioned the idea that only Kpop artists are popular on Stationhead, and that rabid fanbases are gaming the system. Firstly, now that mainstream radio is mostly corporate gatekeeping, getting your favorites' music played is not "truly organic" either. 1/n

If Kpop is a genre that finds supportive platforms, why is that threatening for other music lovers? Especially when Billboard charts are Western-skewed and do not accurately reflect the popularity of music across the rest of the world. If Kpop groups are popular on Stationhead, other artists are equally free to engage with their fans there. Nicki Minaj has a big fan following on Stationhead. But most of these are fan-initiated, and not corporate. Why diss fan behavior? It's legitimate. 2/n

If Stationhead has listening/ streaming parties and sell digital music on the platform, that supports the artist. Why shouldn't fans have a say on how music is consumed? Why be dismissive of fan support, when it is WE WHO BUY THE MUSIC? There are so many corporate middlemen, but the relationship between artist and fans is paramount. Not everybody will feel the need to stream actively, but personally I like to stream every comeback. They change the rules to thwart us, but we persevere. 3/3

Gave my mom a hair trim. She has a sort of pixie cut that needed trimming around the ears and the back. She likes that haircut because it's been so hot lately. I'll color her hair maybe next week.

@penfount The first fountain pen I ever bought for myself was a translucent purple Sheaffer No-Nonsense with an F nib, from when Sheaffer was brought in by a major Philippine book store chain. I bought it with my first salary from my first job. I still have it. The only thing that's changed about it is that I bought it a new piston converter many years later. It's still got one of the smoothest nibs in my collection. I now have 3 No-Nonsenses (added a translucent grey and a red years later.)
