@GQB it is a double problem, which in a way is why I was glad ( as an old person) to duck out. Lots of venues across the UK opened in 80s & 90s on a shoestring budget, and run by the same people all those years. Whereas, as always, younger people have different ideas. Who was I to steer their tastes and ideas? However the lack of financial support is sad, some money will help the spaces survive for the future, but the music within them may change...

favourite performance

I know I'm not the only person to choose this. I've also debated, & asked daughter opinion. I have no overall favourite but this one, & why.

It was early on in my 2021 BTS watching. I now realise 2019 - 21 is less time to 21 - now, making it quite recent when I actually watched and went: Horses? What is going on? What is all this?

Then went & learnt about the God Dionysus. I've learnt so much from BTS.

Also, I have so much to say. When I watched this again this afternoon, and then checked if Busan Run BTS/ Busan whole show was better... I thought in 2019 they were still quite young, they grew up so much in the pandemic and into Chapter Two. In 2019, creating this completely over the top, epic show, with everything but the kitchen sink, they probably had very different thoughts on the future ( as that recent Disney+ show demonstrated)

Favourite Bangtan Bomb

We discussed this over dinner last night. Daughter says there are 800? I definitely hadn't watched them all. However, there's one I've watched several times - it's tricky..... Yoongi is cute in this, it's chaos, it makes me smile.

I should probably watch some different ones? Looking forward to finding some recommendations today...

So I still have slight cold feelings and life is still crazy so I'm missing art again tonight.
However this appeared in my emails this afternoon from the Korea Tourist people, their most popular Instagram post last month. And it's in the sun in and that's a Right Place Right Person and Right Weather ( more on that tomorrow) ( also found out BTS Skip Hire exists in S London, EST 1993... )

Honestly the guessing game is over.

I was standing outside the co-op supermarket and checked my phone purely to see if anyone in the family had messaged about needing groceries, and there was the Weverse notification... I smiled like I was 15 again how silly to be this excited!

Anyway yesterday was my birthday, why we went to London on Sunday, and I wasn't going to mention it, except BTS daughter bought a pretty cake & the Butter PTD CD for me. It's the first time she has bought a birthday cake!

We keep getting Jin photocards, so I opened slowly ( it makes no difference...) I was happy to get RM & a message from RM which Google lens can translate. It's madness that this should make me happy? ( The photocard & message)

But work was busy yesterday & I was tired ⬇️
