@publictorsten Ich habe so ein Garmin Radar, welches mich optisch/akustisch vor sich schnell nähernden Fahrzeugen warnt und jederzeit die Anzahl der Fahrzeuge hinter mir anzeigt.
Ich möchte das nicht mehr missen, da es den Schreckmoment nimmt, wenn so ein Panzer mit 70 km/h Geschwindigkeitsunterschied an mit vorbeibraust.

Das hilft im Zweifelsfall alles nichts, aber ich habe so mehr Informationen, da ich mich nicht ständig umdrehen kann. Ich fühle(!) mich sicherer.

I think I might be getting a Nokia phone later this year.

Almost shattered my iPhone SE 2 and I'm not seeing myself using anything larger than the 13 Mini.

The Nokia is not a good replacement -- if anything, I "need" maps and a camera.

Aus dem zweiten Dokument kann man entnehmen, dass es mit “... was mit Docker" ist. Die Anwendungen sollten bestenfalls in Java gebaut werden.

Der Begriff OS ist also falsch, in dem Falle aber glücklicherweise. Man stelle sich vor, es wäre wirklich ein OS.

I've been living with a 128 kbps, 44.1 kHz mp3 version of Kyuss - Green Machine since 8th grade.

Today I discovered that while the Apple Music version sounds similar, it's not as thick.

After that all worked, the more difficult part for me came: getting permission to use the names and trademarks for the App Store.

But that was actually easier than I thought. In addition to this permission, the nice people at WAHOO also included a specification for BLE communication.

Sometimes asking is the easiest way. :)

Good news everyone! simctl status_bar overrides are working again with Xcode 15 🥳

Just last week, I tediously did the whole, ridiculous “setting my Mac's system time to 9:41am and then frantically trying to take as many screenshots as possible in a minute" thing again when simctl would've done the trick 🫠

I’d bet that you can have something running on the Playdate in less than one hour.

Install the SDK, install a nightly build of Swift and clone the PlaydateKit repo. Details:

Look for the update method in Game.swift and insert
Graphics.drawText("Hello World", at: Point(x: 120, y: 200))

Hit run and the simulator will open. Connect Playdate and unlock it. Select Device from the menu bar and Upload Game to Device.

@phranck Das gleiche ist mir letzte Woche passiert. Nachdem ich das Leveling irgendwie durch permanenten Reset ausgetrickst habe ist er jetzt wieder gerade, aber an tiefster Position. Fühle mich wie im Zwergenland.

Thanks to @finnvoorhees's PlayDateKit core functionality took about 60 minutes to implement.

This was fun!

Only thing where I struggled was getting text displayed. Thanks to @m_mlr for pointing me in the right direction. Using [CChar] is not convenient but hey: it's the result that counts. 😅
