👋 For those interested, the brilliant and lovely @cameronmoll did a talk at the 2024 Front-End Design Conference. Wasn't there, but looks like it was wonderful. Here's a link to a PDF of his slides. Worth checking out. He also created a colophon, which is an idea I might steal…
@Luke The algorithm tried to make me sit through not one but two 1 min ads to even start watching that. And the first was an about optimizing my schedule with AI so... now I really need a walk in the woods…
@scott That was my experience as well when I tried it. The little pop up never going away is a metaphor for how bloated Adobe’s software is these days.
@Luke Mostly weeding today but bought some new habanero and serrano plants to eventually use for making hot sauce. Also just solved my constant flat tire problems.
Learned something totally new about a piece of software I’ve used for multiple decades last night and now wondering if that “feature” was always there and I just somehow never knew.
Fonts in packaged InDesign files override system ones in how they’re loaded as long as they’re in a “Document fonts” folder alongside the InDesign file itself. Huh. 🤔
@Luke Yeah I think so. I discovered after trying many things to override or fix what I thought was a corrupted cache. Instead it just turned out to be moving those fonts to go back to use the system ones.
