Just so folks know where we are. 231.68 raised, $2343.32 remaining. Eri's for $1,500 is due in ONE DAY and we've barely made a dent in this ask for rent and . Eri is trying to uplift themselves from their situation by finding , which hasn't been going well for them. Let's make sure a person gets to do that this . The rest of the + community wouldn't be where they are without Black folks. @mutualaid

@mutualaid I'm just gonna put this out there: Eri's ask got a lot of engagement across most platforms, but the metrics for Instagram make no sense. 555 accounts reached, and counting. 30 people engaged with the post, including likes, shares, saves. 4 people gave, totaling 111.13. Imagine it's the 30 ppl who interacted that gave. It would be 3.70 each. Now, if the 555+ ppl who saw that gave that amount, we'd be at 2055.91. Shouldn't those interactions translate to donations?

Nothing raised. Rent was due 4.5 hours ago. They packed up and left in anticipation. Their phone was also shut off for non payment. They updated me this afternoon on free wifi, but I haven't heard from them since. @mutualaid The last update I got from them was around 10pm last night letting me know they were in a McDonalds that was about to close, using their free wifi since their phone was also shut off. If you can help with anything toward their survival right now, it'd be helpful. And I'll let you folks know when I hear from them next.

@mutualaid Sabi has received 25 toward the remaining 400 toward the hotel. She still also has 1510 remaining toward the new ask. I don't know what's going to happen as it's hard to find places to accommodate her mom who has dementia, for whom she is sole caretaker, as well as her ESA.
