I need you to start using Facebook again-- really. I mean it.
I need you to start sharing information there. Share leftist news. Share real news about #Palestine. Share #BLM posts. Share #Queer & #Trans news and resources. Share #Climate Crisis news. Share increasingly #radical memes and personal takes. Ramp it the fuck up till you're worried your family & friends will think you're absolutely unhinged.
I'm completely serious.
Why? Because older people use it who only get their news from Fox or CNN. Because your centrist friends and conservative family are there. Because you are the last line of hope for them to learn anything about what's really happening, and about things that actually matter. Some of them know you and trust you enough to listen-- not all, but some. They aren't going to read theory or pay attention without a thread or connection to someone else that cares.
They need real connections like you so that these ideas are not abstract.

Hey guys, im reposting this since it's a new account, but essentially i live in a neglectful home, and im currently unemployed and im disabled (i have confirmed adhd, i also currently suspect i have ocd), and im therefore very poor and unable to afford basic necessities. I am very poor and unable to afford medical treatment or food or other things.
My mom doesnt take care of me at all (she has always been very neglectful of me), my family has mostly abandoned me and none of them help me. I live with them in the same house but they dont want to help me beyond that. They dont pay for my food or any other basic necessities. I cannot afford basic necessities like food or cookware on my own as i do not have an income without donations. Please help me. I need donations desperately. Please.
“Maintain yourself, find your community who loves you for you and who wants to celebrate you. Being yourself as you navigate the world in a way that’s safe and authentic and good to you is going to help in the long run. Know that you’re loved and supported, that time goes on and more people will see us for who we are as we continue to advocate for ourselves.” Aaron Philip
Dr Manabi Bandopahyay became India’s first transgender college principal when she took up her post at Krishnagar Women’s College in 2015. She has often had to struggle for acceptance in her career but has succeeded nonetheless.
Warning to all: I am a bicanthrope. Yes, my bisexuality is a phase...like the moon. I become horny for plethoras of genders as the full moon waxes and will randomly thirst over thembos, hunks, and adorable dudes that I was nonplussed about the week before.
BEWARE: If I bite you, you too will become cursed with bicanthropy and become a libidinous disaster. I suggest polyamory and attending an orgy or two. 😉
#WhatchaReading ? Wow, the bleak moment in The Breakup Lists was even worse than I expected, though actually worked really well with the story arc. I found it overall a good read, though too repetitious and with a bit of a deus ex machina ending; I would've like to see the main character really pursue what he wanted.
Has what seems like very good #deaf representation, is very #queer , and very geeky about high school theater. And a sweet romance.

I'm a big fan of Isabel Waidner and have read all of her #novels (which makes them the only contemporary writer I've read ALL the books ;). This is my take on their latest novel: Corey Fa Does Social Mobility.
