I was completely out of the loop about what happened to Naomi Wu.

She is being silenced by the Chinese government and it seems like I am not the only one who missed this.

@shuttersparks Yeah. It feels like fascist are getting stronger in a lot of places.

At least the urgency of the situation causes more people to care.

My cheap ass Acer Aspire One Laptop. Got mine for like €60,-

It's still working after all these years and I only had to replace the battery and keyboard.

It's not very powerful but programming and watching movies works just fine.

    @SheDrivesMobility Was manche Menschen hier machen ist immer den gleichen Hashtag an solche posts zu hängen. Dann können die Follower genau diesen Hashtag blockieren.

    Aber ich bin auch fein damit wenn du weiter wie bisher machst :)

    That my interest or attention is unwanted. Which happened a few times when I was a lot younger.

    Now I struggle to express genuine interest in pretty much anything when people are around.

    It's worst when it's about romance since it's more personal.

    But I have the same fears when it's about my hobbies or any topic at all.

    The more the thing feels like a part of me the worse it gets.

    That's not the way I feel the suggestion is meant.

    We all know that some people only read headlines or that quotes sometimes omit relevant context.

    So they suggest avoiding saying things that can be used for this.

    I don't think that's a viable solution but an understandable reaction.

    You don't need to assume people you're disagreeing with are stupid to do so. Just that there is a sizable portion. (Which is probably also true about "your" side)

    Decided to change the wallpaper to something else.

    Hard to decide on which wallpaper I should go with so.. which one do you prefer?

    A wooden desktop setup sitting right at the window where various buildings can be seen. The desk has a magic keyboard, a mousepad and a laptop stand sitting in front of the photographer.
    Sky with black clouds, but there is a gap for the sun to shine. A large apartment complex can be seen.

    fun fact: #git used #curl before curl used git but both git's use of curl and curl's use of git have improved curl ... and I like to think that git's use of curl helps to make it a solid product.

    @bagder I have a deep appreciation of both curl and git.

    They both show me that it is possible for us humans to make solid/long lasting/good software. It's really inspiring.
