People think its weird that I facilitate a 16 week workshop focused on our culturally instilled denial of death- but 1) a good friend asked me to, 2) I think its one of the roots of many collective pathologies, 3) we appreciate life more when we accept that it is death’s partner.

I’m always interested when people think trusting others should be the default until it is disproven.

I don’t necessarily think the default should be mistrust-

But trust is built, co-created, earned.

I think uncertain curious neutrality is a fine default.

Create and facilitate community and peer groups.

Teach others how to create and build community and peer groups.

Listen to communities that have never abandoned models of community care because the dominant structures didn’t provide care.

Redevelop the intuitive, non-linear, communal relationship to our collective struggles

Help people remember and recall all the ways we can healthfully, non-extractively respectfully come together.
