The real offender is the Benedictine College for pushing this nonsense, and not issuing an apology. I thought it was curious he used the word “vocation” so frequently. I noticed on the College’s press page, they also used this word in the article announcing he would be doing the commencement speech.

From their press page (emphasis mine):

By grounding himself in his vocation as a husband and father, Butker says he has been able to use his platform to push others to greater heights.

Examples of this word “vocation” in his speech.

Maybe if Peter was paid a living wage, had rent that wasn’t price fixed, wasn’t at the mercy of artificial inflation, could afford to buy a home without an outrageous interest rate, a retirement age and pension that could support his retirement, and had all the economical advantages the boomers had… he wouldn’t be in a bar drinking himself into an early grave.

Be veeeeeery wary of browser addons. They gain access to the data of every web page. Can monitor keystrokes, etc. so… usernames, passwords, bank accounts. How hard would it be for a developer to maliciously add code that is distributed to thousands of devices?
