We’re staying in the cutest little tiny home in Asheville. Wildly comfortable bed, decent size fridge, great shower, 160 Mbps internet… and for like $80/night. 5m from downtown, but in a nice forested area. Such a great find.

I just used an iPhone SSH app to tunnel into my home computer over a TailScale vpn to edit a Markdown post using Vim on my iPhone, then ran the deploy in a tmux session so I could disconnect and go back to eating breakfast at this cute diner In Asheville. Go Nerds!

Someday I hope to have an open source project as active and well-organized as the Obsidian plugin repo. The level of automatic validation and detailed human review is awesome.

My plugin to open the current note in Marked is VERY simple, but also my first real attempt at Node. The reviewer offered very detailed info on how to get it up to community standards. Which is, in fact, how I've learned most languages. Hack something together and let other people point out all the ways it's wrong…

Fun little side-quest today: extrapolating an aspect ration from image-1234x1234.jpg filenames and providing a little preview for the image format.

Rake task does the math and inserts a <span> with width and height based on a 25px base height.
