I've recently been watching my lovely friend Grumble play Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, a game about which I am insane. I was inspired by one scene which I won't spoil for you to write a little piece of ghostly flash fiction, utterly and completely unconnected to the game. Sometimes I just have thoughts about ghosts and have to do something about it! Many such cases.

Friend of mine went to a boardgame club, and said there were a lot of (het) couples there for gaming. When invited to pick a table with a game they like, the women regularly refused, saying it would be weird to choose a game that their partner is not interested in. So the guys always picked the games.

Finally giving the Dionysiaca an actual read.

Despite how much the translator's introduction trashes it as a hack job, I am really enjoying it so far (some Classical philologists need to chill).

It opens with the fight against Typhon, which is a pretty epic boss fight, even by mythological standards.
