I was very interested in buying one; the details looked OK, and it wasn’t a use-once product like those flimsy blue face masks. This was early on when no end was in sight so it seemed like a decent move, and was at least interesting visually.

I ended up not buying one since they took forever from announcement to actual public sale, and I’d talked myself out of it.

I stopped dating normies after my first… unofficial? boyfriend. (we never called it dating but we cuddled, fucked, and cried like hell when we found out his family was moving away)

Immediately stop pretending to be normal. Dating pic? Your fursona. Your kinks? Of course, knots are a given. Future dating plans? You need a barq account. Your response to an unexpected lewd statement? “oh murr”. You were made for this. Accent it, embrace it.

Seriously when I limited the dating pool to furries, the quality of the applicants skyrocketed. I am very, very much a person who needs sex in a relationship, but both the dragon and his bf (who I have yet to meet irl but I’m going to do my damnest to make a good impression) are quite… almost asexual. Apparently the bf even more so. We have talked about it, and the dragon is well-aware of my needs (we were roommates at one point, and going on 3y of master/pet), and so it’s awkward but he tries to be supportive, and that means a lot to me. And I’m demisexual anyway, so the fact that he cares about me so much is a turn-on of itself.

I also have trust issues. My ex, whom I was engaged to, broke things off in a very painful way, telling those around him lies about me, that I did this or that. I sought therapy as I wanted to kms, being in my 20s, a stroke “survivor”, unable or extremely limited in the things I love to do, and then the person I love and would do actually anything for, rips my heart out with the emotions of a stone-cold killer. I was also bullied very heavily in school, people I thought were my friends were actually terrible bastards. I have few actual friends and every day I wake up is a day of suffering. But master is trying to make me feel better about myself, remind me that my ex was abusive, that I am worth something. It’s hard - I want to be close with him, I like him very much, but I don’t want to be hurt again. Everything I wanted, everything I loved, brutally taken from me. I can’t go through that again.

While I can’t offer anything meaningful, I’m just a wolf-tiger-fox hybrid on the internet, don’t give up. There are so many wonderful people in this community, and yeah some of us are the deviants that your mother warned you about (looks in the mirror), there are a good bit that I’ve bumped into that want more… meaningful activities from a relationship. “Temple police confirmed that two people died and one was seriously injured after an oversize load came off its trailer Saturday.

Temple Fire and Rescue responded to the crash around 11 a.m. on State Highway 36, west of Highway 317.

Crews found the oversized load pinning a vehicle beneath. The load being hauled by the transport fleet was 350,000 lbs. It took four hours to extract one victim, who was flown to the ER with life threatening injuries.

Officials say the cause of the accident is still under investigation. The road remains closed at this time.”

They already are (waymo has been having automated rigs with a safety driver at the wheel for over 5 years now; I’ve been up close and personal with them). Usual loads don’t bother me, but anything oversized or special I’m still very much in favor of having humans drive, or at least as a safety driver position.

I’ve played the 2D very briefly, but it was before my time so I lack the nostalgia and interest. Seeing the car transform was freaking awesome at the time, so futuristic. I was a kid back then and obtaining all secondary objectives was legitimately hard, but provided replay value.

I’d really like to see another, but I don’t know if whoever has the IP has any interest, or is even in business anymore.

Second big paragraph: I usually have ethernet ports that just decide to wake the system up, almost all my machines in the last 15 years do this. Disabling the ability to wake from sleep (from the ethernet port) has always resolved this. Just something to look at.

Third: yeah, and it’s fine to not be ready - I’d rather it not be and everyone accept that. Problem is (and what I was alluding to) is that many don’t. I’ve got attacked here, reddit, and elsewhere because “er mah gerd I found the perfect build guide and didn’t care about the distros so I followed everything to a T and you too should have no creativity or desire for exploration so that you can be as much of a sheep as I am” and it’s like… I like the hardware I selected, I like the distro and want to see it improve because of [feature], etc but god damn some people if you step out of their mental line, they lose their shit. Tell them that X doesn’t work because of Y and they want to rip you to shreds for breaking their perfect bubble they’ve built. Spend any time in a Linux-heavy gaming community and their holy penguin can do no harm.

I dunno if my venting above comes off as it, but I want this project to succeed. It’s just, every time it’s been a wall of issues, every time “oh it’s better now” but ‘better’ is ‘we fixed the old issues’ and doesn’t touch on ‘and we added some new ones, too’. That’s the catch. Two steps forward, one step back - but it’s progress.
