We have Orgs that refurbish them and mix and match components.
And yes such RAM and other stuff might be worth to reuse.

The interesting part will be a common form factor so you can upgrade motherboards and transplant them in small cases.
Given so many run rpis they sure will appreciate a bigger machine.
