Hey folks, I have tragic news. We've lost our first refugee.
While Blake and her family could still really use your help, her partner in #florida has given up on both leaving and transition.
Thank you to everyone who has helped. At the very least, your donations have provided much needed relief for the remaining members of Blake's found family.
I'm not going to lie, this one is hard on me. I worked a lot with these folks to try to get them relief of various kinds to try to help. But it just wasn't enough in the end.
I wish good luck to Blake's now ex partner. She is in my thoughts, and I hope she finds happiness on the other side of what she is now going through.
