Woke up today to see my smart bulb got stuck on pairing mode, and when it does it, it blinks consistently. I had to try pairing it for an hour, and then gave up and plugged my spare. Hello sunday morning with migrane 😔

There is ESP8685 (C05M ?) MCU inside of the smart bulb, and you can see the swollen capacitor at right side below it.

The R, G, B, W, V and GND lines are moved to led board through that CONN1 6 pin port, like a pogo connector.

I believe the reason the red and blue leds were so hollow on this bulb was because only the square LEDs were trying to carry those light waves.

The outer circle's silk screen says c1...c10 and w1...w10 , which I believe is both for whites (cold white 1 ... cold white 10, and warm white 1 .... warm white 10).

I'm looking ways to salvage and make us of that module.

The light PCB looks okay, so I'll save it as a spare or will tinker over it.

Oh and this bulb was making home calls, but I blocked it.

I used this GitHub repository to connect this to Home Assistant, and it works flawlessly:

There are some helpful notes in the README file of that GitHub repository.
