next time Hamas will think twice before launching terrorist attacks agains Israel;
if Israel let some Hamas survive, which cannot be taken for granted;
so Palestinians in Gaza won't be taken as hostages by their own “government”, who stole every penny of international aid to buy weapon and tunnels and let them prey to Israel's retaliation.

see my first point instead of joining the braying crowd: this small percentage is very difficult in urban zone combat, if Israel wanted to level Gaza, it could.
@VoxClamans#Israelhas levelled the #Gaza Strip. More than 80% of its population has been displaced. And the 20 000 figure isn't final because the #genocide isn't over. It's like claiming that Turks aren't genociding Greeks at the beginning of the genocide because so far they haven't killed that many.
@happymilk@VoxClamans they are not displaced because of leveling, they are displaced because Israel directed them to leave the area so it can reduce civilian casualties while fighting Hamas
