Why not? Have you had a look at the Met Gala? People doing the boycott have had enough of all the "in your face" mindless glitz, when there's a genocide happening right now, in front of us. I understand it. I do.
I found you can't just type a name and hit enter: you have to start typing a name and if it appears in the drop-down, you can select it and see the details. (At least this is how it worked for me on Android)
