I don't have my R1T yet but I'm happy that ABRP is now updated with more accurate information for all R1 configurations. It helps planning my future trips.
I'm happy about it. I'd be happier if they gave us Carplay/AA, but ABRP is going to lead to tons of improvements. Right now the nav is a bit too conservative for my taste. Real world data from other cars, let alone their own is going to lead to reduced customer range anxiety.
I'm excited for the adapter news. I honestly don't care what charging standard there is, but as a consumer I want to be able to easily and conveniently charge at as many places as possible. Although now I feel like instead of having a Rivian with a "USB C", with Tesla as the "lightning cable" it's like they're flip flopping and now I'm the schmuck left with a truck that needs a dongle. Oh well. I don't charge that much on the road. Honestly didn't care which standard won out, but only that they turned into an actual standard.
Honestly fine with this. I just hope the rest of the holdouts jump over also. Wonder if that means in 2025 we might see the 800v architecture version as well…
