Political corruption in #Gabon 🇬🇦 by incumbents led to this unsurprising event.

In the past few years, #Guinea 🇬🇳, #Mali 🇲🇱, #BurkinaFaso 🇧🇫, #Niger 🇳🇪 & now Gabon 🇬🇦 have seen coups, in which the new military governments embrace authoritarianism & (usually) #Russia 🇷🇺.

#France 🇫🇷 is also partially to blame for this, but that is another topic for another day.
