I went for a short walk on today and bumped into Amos Goldbaum, a local muralist whose distinct line art can be seen all over . I'm going to grab my microphone, then come back up the hill for a quick interview with him. Anything you'd like me to ask Amos about his work? Check out his site here: https://www.amosgoldbaum.com/

A closer look at a finished mural by Amos. The art is on a large concrete wall. The background is a dark grey, the art is a light blue. The art is painted in a consistent line width with no shading or fills. It shows buildings and landmarks in San Francisco and on Bernal Hill.

Amos Goldbaum’s mural was tagged last night. That sucks.
This is the second time an artist’s work was vandalized after I interviewed them, but I swear it’s not my fault!

After 5 weeks of work, Amos Goldbaum has finished painting his giant mural of Bernal. This mural is split into 12 panels on the Virginia Avenue Garden Walk in .

@exkclamation I'll try. Maybe there's a question I could ask him about social media? I didn't follow him when I was on Twitter, but I just started following him on IG. I got a sense today he was feeling a bit burned out on social in general, which is where I think a lot of us are feeling these days. IE, he feels like posting on social is a tedious thing he is supposed to do as an artist.

@docpop totally understood, it has to be exhausting to work all day on art and then also spend so much time posting about it on all the socials. 🥵

Since I don’t use Instagram, I just wish there were a way I could follow his work here like I used to on Twitter. Maybe ask if he has a blog (RSS) or newsletter that people can subscribe to?
