Every time I see Tears of the Kingdom praised as a masterpiece, I become that much more certain the Zelda IP is no longer for me. And that I may not have a reason to buy Nintendo consoles anymore. And that I’m glad I never got a Zelda tattoo. And that I may need to change my username.
It’s a reminder that I need to make sure not to wrap my “identity” into IPs.
@Kokirimuscle i understand. But I understand others as well.
Totk and botw are wildly different from other classic Zelda's. They have a way different feel and experience.
Doesn't mean they are bad. But yes they do hit different.
For me it does make me wanna go back to the oot time!
But don't change your ID. It's a fundament of your ID not the Essence
