It's been a year since we first booted up #Zelda#TearsOfTheKingdom! ⚔️🛡️ What do professional cartographers think of this #map of Hyrule? How does it stack up against the perfect 10 out of 10 map in #BreathoftheWild?
I dedicate this model to those who love Zelda TotK and have access to a multi-material 3D printer... That might indeed appeal to a rather niche audience 😅
I designed it using Open Source software only: GIMP for cleaning bitmap images, Inkscape for converting them into vector graphics, OpenSCAD for assembling them as 3D volumes, and OrcaSlicer for sending the result to the 3D printer.
A few weeks ago, my parents went to some sort of convention (they didn't go too much into detail) and found a reseller with several retro games on display. Being a fan of the #legendofzelda series, I worked with them to obtain three games I didn't have physically.
The good news is that A Link To The Past works. The bad news is that I need to acquire a NES to play the NES titles.
@MURRRAAAAY Today I would say Breath of the Wiled (NOT Tears of the Kingdom.) And of course like so many others I really did enjoy Ocarina of Time a lot. But before it I also had the extremely unpopular opinion of actually enjoying Zelda 2. I put so many countless hours into that game. One of the very few NES games I ever beat.
Here is my April for artists for day 2 & 3 … I might batch these depending on my work load every day … I do have a cartoon to get out this month still …
But using my brothers gift to share my behind the scenes seems to be working well for me 🤣

Well folks, since there’s no #vgmwednesday theme yet, how about songs with #asenseofprogression? I love this type of music, where the song builds up with more and more instruments the further you get in a level, battle or side quest.
