It’s funny because last week I was listening to this song again and thinking about 15 years ago me hearing this song for the first time. And how much it resonated with me because I totally related to the “I really need to buckle down and apply myself but something always distracts me and crap now it’s Monday again where did time go” undercurrent in this song.
Oh man I was about to suggest OG breakcore when you said ADHD music
It doesn’t have exactly what you’re looking for because it isn’t about ADHD per se but the music describes mental state. Here’s some and some more. The title of the second one is a little dumb but I can look past it
The name of the band can be offputting, but they are a really good punk band : Viagra Boys. They have a song called “The Cognitive Trade-Off Hypothesis” which is my favourite from them. The subject is straight up how ADD is maybe a result of our evolution. Really funny lyrics as well.
