cats can't obtain anything as they have no agency, they can only be bestowed upon, whether the cat accepts is a question that can't possibly be answered, but i'd expect not

Look at those claws they will mess you up. We have Goannas in Australia which I think are related to Monitor lizards that also have those really sharp claws.
