Doomer anime?
Is there any anime that depicts a doomer? Welcome to NHK is the closest I can think of with the hikikomori main character.

Really? It does have a soundtrack that consists of two entire discs. But it’s been a while so I don’t remember the series in detail that well.
Mars2k21, I've watched a little over half of the show...it has some music, but much of it is pretty ambient. Maybe there is more music in the latter half.

I feel like Gantz gives has doomer vibes. A lot of mid 2000s anime does though.

Gantz fits. Maybe moreso the manga. The ending of Pluto also feels kind of doomerish? Or maybe thats just depression.
