How to see your iPads battery health
If you want to see the health of the battery in your iPhone it’s as easy as going to the settings. But Apple doesn’t offer the same handy tool on iPadOS for some reason.
There are ways though of seeing exactly how healthy (or unhealthy) your iPad battery is.
Just follow these steps to see detailed information about your battery.
- Download the Battery Stats Shortcut.
- Open Settings > Privacy and Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data.
- You’ll see a long list of files. Open the one looks like the image below with the most recent date.

The image of my battery stats are from my one day old iPhone 15 Pro Max so it’s very unlikely you will see 100% for your battery.
When I tried this on an iPad and iPhone (it works on phones too) that wasn’t running iOS 17 it didn’t work. So make sure you’re on iOS or iPadOS 17.
