This little guy and his frog friend decided to go for a swim in the pool.
Both mouse and frog were rescued this morning around 6:40AM, after found in the deep end of a pool.
prowess2956, I wonder what Aesop would have to say about this.
Foreigner, If you haven’t already, have you considered installing a few small ramps around the pool for animals to climb out when they fall in? You can find some simple cheap-ish ones on amazon like this one: m.media-amazon.com/…/81hGTaHIS3L.

I like that you specified it was the deep end, as if the mouse would stand more of a chance in 4ft of water as opposed to 6ft
Edit: i suppose you’re probably mentioning it for the proximity to the stairs but this is funnier
ParabolicMotion, The pool cleaning device is usually in the shallow end in the mornings. It has a tube that leads down from the wall. The mouse might have stood a chance if it was able to climb that tube.
