Just got back from my first ever date, holy shit what an experience. She was so cute and lovely, we held hands, hugged, kissed, there was some intimate touch from me to her, naturally all with her explicit consent. I can’t wait to see her again on Friday, so fucking excited and it’s only Monday still…
I just scheduled my first ever date with a girl for Friday at 1pm! I am super damn excitied and also super damn anxious at the same time. Never done anything like dating before, so this is all new to me. Thankfully the girl I’m meeting is kind and fun so we should have a good time, I legit can’t remember the last time I felt this happy.
EDIT: We’re actually meeting up tomorrow!!! Grabbing a few drinks at a pub after she has an appointment in my area, lucky.
Listened to Anna Karenina last week, finally finished it after like two weeks. Quite a journey and quite a roster out characters that I got to know. It’s such a huge book that I don’t know how to begin talking about it.
It’s been not too bad of a week. I work outside and unfortunately, it’s been very cold the first part of the week but temps are warming. It’s going to rain all day. Fun, fun.
Was supposed to get my shoe inserts today, which I’d then be supposed to use instead of crutches. They didn’t arrive. No deliveries on Saturday, so still crutches until Monday. Yay.
Tiring… Haven’t been sleeping well and been really busy at a job where my interest in dwindling. Being busy normally helps with the dread which is good, but I’m still just so damn tired.
AP exams actually saved me money. DD only needs one class to finish her degree next spring, and part time tuition is saving me $13k over the cost of full time for that last semester. She’s in this position because she had a bunch of AP credits from high school. That’s a win.
Pretty terrible. After a year I finally got a job, but it’s probably one of the worst possible jobs for someone like me who has ASD and other issues… Call center for military benefits. But I have to do it.
Severely disappointed after spending so much time learning web development, and it was for nothing it seems. On the bright side, my training was paid for…
Wondeting what to give people for christmas. Having no energy and no money is a bad combination. One year I planned it months in advance and slowly made everyone hand-made gifts, but although they were touched by all the time and effort, no one really liked them. I think that goes better in movies.
Got two more Unna’s boot (zinc oxide and calamine gauze bandage) applications and cooling my foot with frozen peas (recommended by the orthopedic doctor). X-Ray showed a small infection in the dorsum of the foot, and I got prescribed shoe inlays, which will be done on the 1st of December. Once I have those, I can finally get rid of the crutches.
My dancing class has to be canceled for obvious reasons, and our teacher said we can just start the advanced course over (we only had 2 of 8 lessons) next year, and if I can make it also come to the last class of the beginner course late December, just to get a bit back into dancing.
No exercise this year, and I’ll have to see how it goes next year. Fun.
