surewhynotlem, For anyone else looking to do this, please make sure you’re using pallets stamped with HT or KD. This should ensure it isn’t chemical treated.
Also, it’s good to know the history of the pallet if you can. You never know if someone spilled arsenic on it 3 years ago, or some ridiculous thing.
