@glightly if it has some notion of whether the chain is moving / limits its shifting accordingly, puts itself in the right gear, I can see electronic deraillers being very user-friendly while saving the weight + ability to downshift under significant load vs an IGH.

@enobacon @glightly My friend's husband has partial paralysis on his right hand and struggles with shifting. Electronic shifting has been recommended for him because it's push-button.
