The Cookery is back for a second edition! Join us for presentations, workshops led by novel duos of artists, music performances, and of course delicious food!
Together, we will delve around the wide intersection between art and science; a critical look on digital fabrication and maker culture; and a bricolage, diy, lowtech approach to making instruments, music and sound.
In the #workshopMaterial Lo-Fi Imaginaries with Darsha Hewitt & Claire Williams, you will create DIY sound inputs/outputs or recycle old ones, and connect them together through "weird cables", in other words, anything that conducts electricity. You're welcome to bring scraps you'd like to play with!
In this #TheCookery workshop with Wojciech Rusin and Eliot Duran, you will learn basic 3D modelling techniques, to create and ornate a functional flute that will then be printed.
You will also get to experiment with animated & 3D printed graphic scores!
The first day of #TheCookery will be dedicated to #talks & concerts, starting in the morning with a series of presentations of local #artScience initiatives.
With Ohme (Sustainable Robotics), KIKK (imagining Ecological Futures) and the Lumson project (which is also part of one of our workshops!)
