Hello!...

I’m interested in knowing how many of you take your espresso black, and how many doctor it up somehow....

Went to a wedding and they had a poet dressed like a fox. You give him a word and he types out a poem on an old-timey typewriter. Of course, I chose ‘espresso’....

Thought it could be fun to get a thread going on what beans we're currently using, maybe with some pertinent details on the brew variables if you feel inclined to share....

Got my Argos today and it looks and feels so much better than I expected. It’s super tiny, beautifully designed and setting it up was very easy. Filled it up with 40GH/40KH water and it got to temp within 5 mins or so. Flushed for a bit to clean out the water path. Pulled a shot with some washed Ethiopian beans 18:40 and it...

I’m relatively new to the espresso game and my espresso always tastes a bit sour… please help! I’m using a Breville Barista Express. From what I understand, the sourness is generally because of under extraction. The water seems to be at around 190-200 degrees, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve tried to dial in...

Hello Guys 1st Issue I have a GCP with a Eureka Mignon Crono which has a 50mm burrs. The coffee tastes good, but I never reached 25-30 seconds of extraction, the closest is 18 seconds....

I’m still working on consistency, but I just made a nice washed columbian on my gcp

Half asleep, I added coffee to the espresso grinder. Never has it been more clear, that grind size matters.

On a quick glance this community looks dead because of the pinned posts taking up a lot of space.

I though it could be fun to list our least favorite roasts from the past week, maybe with a description on why you disliked it. This way we could round out the “what are you brewing” posts with a sort of “I won’t be brewing that again” type of end cap....

Can we make this a thing? I would love to see your setups ;)

I felt productive and decided to clean literally everything in my coffee station, including doing a long over-due descale and group head flush....
