Just about all of my prints have these lines at around the same heights, and I can’t figure out why. I tried changing the nozzle, changing the layer height from 0.15 to 0.12, and changing the speed from 60mm to 40mm. All of these seemed to have helped a bit, yet they remain. I was thinking maybe as the prints get to a certain...
I finished Control last week, likely the best game to marry a creepy funhouse with a sprawling government office that you’ll ever play. I was up and down on this one for a few months. There’s a fun narrative and plenty of atmosphere, but I wasn’t always enjoying the gameplay....
I wonder what percentage of players opt for the “story only” difficulties? Has anyone done this sort of study? One dev found that 70% opt for easy mode. They point out that most people don’t finish most games, and easy modes help increase that number.
I had a thought about finding similarly themed jokes about men, but haven’t had any luck yet. It’s true that a good number of blond jokes could be gender agnostic so long as they are just about intelligence.
I really enjoy time loop games where the player can explore and there’s a story, and isn’t just a puzzle game. I played Outer Wilds a few years ago and I loved everything about it, it’s my favorite in the genre....
This is probably not your speed, but I can’t stop myself from mentioning Deathloop…
Also, and this is a bit of a stretch, but Day of The Tentacle was a great game with a time element… I’m reminded by this because I asked ChatGPT for a list of games that met this criteria.
I posted here a bit ago with zero 3d printing experience. You guys helped me mash this case together. I printed it, attached it to my phone, and it seems to work. It has a magnetic ring that I bought from quadlock, but it fits in the case, so it effective has both quadlock and magsafe capabilities. I reinforced the attachment...

I am friends with a lot of hippy-archetypical folks… and many of them don’t do the bathing/deodorant thing with the frequency that’s commonly expected by the majority. Just saying they choose to be au natural… and maybe that’s ok.
I’m actually a little surprised that my hot take got so much hate… I inferred was there are multiple reasons that people don’t bath. I posed this as an or… as an alternative. I didn’t suggest depression isn’t a reason.
I was hoping for a “war never changes” moment, but it’s a slow thing, and this was short. In my mind they were right to leave it out. I’ll be surprised if it’s not included in the actual series somewhere.
I was like you and didn’t like curved TVs… but I have ultra wide curved displays at home/work, and this use case is awesome! Every part of the screen is about the same distance from my eyes. A typical 34” (3440x1440) is about the same pixel count as 2.5 1080p displays, but with no bezels to split the screen… so it’s perfectly centered. With separate displays I need to center one and set one way off to the side, or center the bezel split and need to always turn my head one way or the other. Webcam is centered. Cable management is easier (one power, one signal). Brackets are less bulky. Desk is cleaner looking.
You’ll get a little less area than 2x 27” 1440p displays.
I don’t know how important HDR is to you. I’ve always had good luck with Dell ultrasharp longevity. They have a 34” for $350.

Which do you prefer? A triple monitor setup? Or one single 32:9 ultrawide monitor?
I have a triple monitor setup right now, but am thinking of trying a single ultrawide monitor. What is your preference?
