I signed up for a rarepair big bang. The first check in is a couple days before Christmas, so I need to get at least a third of it done by then. Knowing me, I would rather have a half of it done by then. I found some Femslash February prompts that I want to get a head start on too.
On top of that, I'm working on the next part of my big YGO project. I have a bit to establish before the next (and biggest) arc. Super looking forward to this!

You should sign up for this one. Artist claims aren't until February, so you would have time to think about whether you wanted to do it. And because it isn't a reverse big bang, you'll have the opportunity to glance at the writers' pitches to see if one interests you first.
And I only have things planned for February because the prompts are out already. I don't have anything written for it yet. Just some ideas.
It's not like there isn't always a ton of things to do in December. Make sure to pace yourself comfortably!

And while I’m mentioning this, I have an enigma for you: I’m aware that “t4t” means “a relationship between two trans persons”, and that in fanfic context it often has the added meaning of “make these characters trans even if they are not in canon” (which in turn in smut context is generally a shorthand for “give them the other set of organs down there”), buuuuuut here I have a prompt for a male character with a canonically non-binary character whose sexual characteristics are not revealed in canon and I’m here looking at this “bonus points if t4t” in the prompt wondering what the fuck this can mean for the NB character x’) (I asked the prompter in July and they never answered so I guess they’ll never see my fic anyway, and I have an idea that’ll help something else in the fic have more impact, so I present you this question from a pure curiosity standpoint ^^)
In unrelated news, I mentioned several weeks ago that I was supposed to work on a fic for a birthday in January, and know what? I didn’t touch it at all x’D Seems like I’m well in the process of failing at this one for one more year…
I’m trying to challenge myself to write and publish 8k words before the end of the month though, because this would bring me to a nicely round wordcount for the year x’) Time will tell if the challenge will manage to cut through my difficulties with focus… ='D

I will confess, my assumption would be the request was hoping for the work to have been made by a trans person, not just that the characters in the story are trans. But I don't know the fandom's culture subtext with it so I will leave that be.
As for the rest... It should not mean a different set of genitals is necessary. An enby, like anyone else (identifying as trans or not) can have any sort of genitalia! Surgically altered or not. Because there is also the intersex experience to account for. Most often those who are born with vague looking genitalia get forced surgery in their infancy/childhood to make sure they look "right".
It's your story, you are free to come up with whichever and why. Your character who is originally cis male in the canon work could still be cis male on a technicality in your story. He could of been intersex, made to be male, actually identifies with it, but had to fight when his body decided to grow more feme in his teenage years.
This enby could have what is expected of a "normal" cis genitals. They might be dysphoric about what they have, they might not but still want it changed. The change doesn't have to be tackling anything against the binary- it can simply be wanting a full set of piercings down there! They could just want to express themselves with toys and not care at all what organs they were born with. For all I know you are working in scifi and they have the technology to go where no one has gone before. Hope my trans ass was able to help!

I happen to be enby and have done my part of intersex activism as an ally, so I’m familiar with all of these realities… which honestly only makes me more confused for this specific prompt because I know enough of the fandom prompting culture to know that “t4t” for a M/F pairing just means “I want the man to have a pussy and the woman to have a cock” (works the same way for M/M and F/F) but throw in something more nuanced and I’m like “WHAT LEVEL OF NUANCE DO YOU WANT I HAVE MANY /shows wares like a street seller inside of my coat/” ='D
This present will be like 5-6 years late lol but anyway it’s a joke and I’m 99% sure that my friend won’t even read it, at this point I’m just committing to it because I think some people in the fandom would appreciate having this fic /shrugs/
