My first character (that I remember) was a robot called Devan (originally GeNeSYS). He was what you'd probably get it you took the Iron Man armor, welded it into a Terminator endoskeleton, and made it the most powerful computer to ever exist. I created it originally for a story that never saw the light of day to serve as THE villain in a Skynet-like fashion (not inspired by Terminator in the slightest lol), but much more directly. Instead of sending armies of robots to destroy humanity, he was always in the frontlines, personally wiping the species he saw as "imperfect and pathetic", while also employing gargantuan political games to take control of the governmental hierarchy and plunge society into chaos.
Funnily enough, I liked this character so much that even though I decided to trash the story, I still use this character in most of my stories, even if not directly mentioned. It was also the character that defined the basis of what would become my persona in both the internet (mostly game characters) and works where I decide to insert myself.
I don't really have a good memory for it at the moment, but the oldest OC I can remember I made was a guy called John Subaru Shinjo (what a name for a brazilian character lol).
I made him and some others for an elementary school project. He and his friend had the Double Dragon medal (yeah I copied) and they were in a comic a drew, it was simply 2 guy going to the mall, there a villain shows up and try to destroy the mall. The buddies used the power of the medal to get cool suits and beat the guy. Unfortunatelly, I don't have the comic to show anymore, it must had like what, 6 pages, I think? Maybe less tbh. But it was fun and John's appearance was very like this character from Enigma, that ps1 game (my creativity wasn't well developed), it was fun.
After that, I started to like create characters and stories, it made me want to do it more and more often.
