It may look like it was rendered on Ceefax but VVVVVV is one of those simple-to-learn-but-painfully-difficult-to-master platformers which I think of when someone says “indie game”. Can a shitpost also be a series* of indie horror games? Find out in Strange Toilet and then find out again in Strange Toilet: The Forgotten Shit. Two short indies for Windows, pay-what-you-want on itch.io until 30th April (or today if you’re in a late time zone)....
Unbreaded is a side-scrolling adventure game where you navigate a gingerbread man through a bakery battleground, blending puzzle-solving with dynamic combat against animated kitchenware, all set within a heartfelt story of creation and rebellion against industrialization....
A big bag of indies for Windows (and a few also for Mac), pay-what-you-want on itch.io until 30th April 31st July. A lot of platform puzzlers, but also a waddling simulator and “the greatest koi-punching experience ever realized in a video game”.
Indie puzzle adventure for Windows, free for Amazon Prime subscribers until 31st December. It was free last year as well, though that was in the dark days before I joined Lemmy!
