Palwador,

A nozzle to easily fill water balloons! https://www.printables.com/model/515077-water-ballon-nozzle

Noclue55,

Ive been looking to see if anyone has made a 3d printable design of something like the Keyport slide. A key organizer with push forward keys as opposed to rotate out ones like keysmart and their copies, I've had 2 and they never stay neat in my pocket.

Eventually I'd like to design one that would go around my keyfob and hold my keys. I really only need my mail key, house key, car fob, and my bike lock key. But the Keyport slide does have those cool modules for multitools, flashlights, and usb keys. Which makes me want to add those in as well. I'm not opposed to making it the size of a wallet or cellphone to fit it all, In fact it would make it harder to lose which a is a boon to me.

Thanks for any help or ideas.

PlasticExistence,

Like this? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:923095

Yeggi.com is a good search engine for 3D models. It indexes several of the big sites. I usually look there first.

jlarex,

I found this one but I've never printed it so I can't say how well it works: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2668801

eqq,

made a kbin account, is there now a different account for the rest of lemmy?
can’t seem to make one on join-lemmy
3dprinting moved to rhombik which is apparently a different lemmy what’s going on?

It takes some time for all the federated instances to share all info.

TotallyNotJohnSmith,

I don't think the rhombik guys have their federation set up properly. I couldn't find them from either .ca or .world.

New link goes into the magazine (like a reddit post)

The microblog portion here is more like a twitter feed.

This video help me understand it better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S57uhCQBEk0&

EDIT: There is also this FAQ https://kbin.social/m/kbinMeta/t/11493/A-small-FAQ-to-hopefully-help-new-users-to-kbin

@ShadowRam no I understand that. That post was mostly to figure out what happens if I @ the magazine.

I decided to just make a separate kbin account to post on the forum-esque fediverse. Since a mastodon account doesn't have a way to create a thread currently, at least intuitively and easily (also it'll mostly just be me posting stuff I make and on-topic discussion. I figure people who follow me aren't particularly interested in seeing me talk in random threads, even if the UX for cross talk gets better.)

ShadowRam,

Welcome all Redditors! from /r/functionalprint

XTL,

Thanks for creating this. I'm very interested to see what comes up.

RedditRefugee,

Glad to be here!
