@Datman2020 Omg Papa Louie games, that really brings me back!! I played those so much at uni. They are supposed to be kids games?? They are so hard!!
In a similar vein, I really enjoy Cook, Serve, Delicious. It's a day-by-day format of frantic cooking and you always progress even if your day is crap (you mess up orders, customers are mad, etc). You always still get money and XP and can buy upgrades and new menu items.
Stardew Valley is also a good day-to-day game where you can't really mess up, there is always a way to do everything if you're patient.
