Authorities in Iran are trying to enforce laws obligating women to cover their hair by sending them into psychological treatment. While healthcare organisations warn the country’s judiciary is hijacking…
I fear for what will happen to these women in psychological treatment. I hope the therapists will be their allies. This is clearly the move of an aging ruling party who is losing its population and is trying to claw back control at any cost. I hope the people will stand firm.
Just an open world survival game, only you’re a cat, dealing with regular cat problems. @TourCookie I'm always playing Picross when I have a bad week. It's my comfort game when things get hard. I put silly YouTube videos on the TV and puzzle away!
I am not a professional gamer nor do I have much time to invest into a game in one stretch. However I do enjoy the cumulative progress I make with each session I have with the games, specifically progress of acquiring loot, money, powers or in-game materials. Are there any games that try to match my interests?...
@Datman2020 Omg Papa Louie games, that really brings me back!! I played those so much at uni. They are supposed to be kids games?? They are so hard!!
In a similar vein, I really enjoy Cook, Serve, Delicious. It's a day-by-day format of frantic cooking and you always progress even if your day is crap (you mess up orders, customers are mad, etc). You always still get money and XP and can buy upgrades and new menu items.
Stardew Valley is also a good day-to-day game where you can't really mess up, there is always a way to do everything if you're patient.
Hi everyone! New to Kbin here. I want to look at my Subscribed magazines feed but there are a ton of posts in there from magazines I'm not subscribed to. Am I missing something? Could I be subscribed to something larger that makes me see all those posts? I swear when I look at the feed, there are aot of posts from magazines I am not subscribed to. I can see it when I click the magazine name. I feel like I am missing something here.
Thank you for your help!
@NumbersCanBeFun Thank you! I eventually realized that I had subscribed to the whole kbin.social instance, which put everything and the kitchen sink in my sub feed 😂
I really do like KBin and Lemmy and the fediverse on the whole, but development is still young and the userbase still growing. KBin is still basically early access, and Lemmy is buggy. I spent alot of time in reddit and I'm feeling the pain of trying to ween myself from it. Just wanted to here community perspectives and see how...
