What is the best place to get to know more about the game without getting completely spoiled?

There are moments when I do not wish to continue playing a game but still wish to learn about the game and the things that happened in it so far. Sometimes the story becomes too confusing or I forget that one in-game tip that is needed to beat the game, which is when I am forced to research on that topic else the rest of my...

Recommendations for open world games with focus on interaction instead of exploration or survival

I would like recommendations for open world games where the player has abundant ways to interact with the world, be it with the NPCs or buildings, and does not have to worry about survival aspects of the character or spending time exploring a static world. I would not mind if it comes at the cost of a smaller sized world, as...

Datman2020,

I think my question was not clear. The very intention of the question is to tell **any **complex topic you’ve encountered that you’ve found a surprisingly understandable analogy of. there is no constraint of any subject.

If we have such a high field of vision, why can't we focus on everything within the vision simultaneously?

Why is it that I am not able to read a book without moving my eyes if the entirety of the page is within my field of view? Why do I have to center my eyes on an object to observe it fully? And why is it that I am still able to view changes in surroundings in the edges of my field of vision despite there being supposedly no way...

Datman2020,

you’d be scared to see that everything is grossly blurry and distorted save for a very small circle where the image is very clear

This is what interests and distresses me about the mysteries of the human body. I once saw a video about capturing a person’s recollection of his memory of a video clip by scanning his brain activity. The result was really obscured and blurry, but it actually did resemble the clip, which was deeply disturbing. I would have never known my actual vision is vastly different from what my brain makes me perceive to be.

Is it possible to imagine a universe with a different set of laws of physics?

Some people suggest the idea of a multiverse with each universe having a unique set of laws of physics governing it, but not many delve deeper into this. I was wondering if it was even possible to imagine a universe that is different to ours in this regard....

Can someone still viewing Reddit explain how it is doing as of right now in terms of content quality and engagement? Akan

To someone who is subscribed to multiple communities on Reddit, has there been any change in their feed in their quality or amount of posts since July 1st? Any change in the amount of comments in the posts? Even the number of community subscribers?...

Recommendations for stories with a huge and unstoppable entity/organisation Akan

I am in need for stories in form of movies, shows or games where an extremely large entity or organization exists, a force not to be reckoned with. A system which you cannot defeat, which you have to outsmart and escape instead. A system whose scale cannot be comprehended....

Datman2020,

Fast travel is a great idea! If I may, can I add it to the above list of options?

Datman2020,

I considered this save & load option, but I thought it would be too OP compared to the others

Datman2020,

I’m not accustomed to the Fallout franchise and its game mechanics. Could you elaborate? I’m guessing based on the name that it is some sort of perk obtained for performing an action in a perfect manner.

Datman2020,

Wow, I did think of this idea, but I didn’t know what it was actually called by the gaming community. I could add this if you want.

Where to contribute to projects by solving simple prompts?

Are there websites where I can do simple tasks like distinguishing/sorting images, writing captions, selecting correct options or other tasks I can do in my free time or mindlessly whilst also contributing to meaningful projects? Something like Google Crowdsource, although I would like to avoid registering to any privacy...

Recommendations for short session games with materialistic progress made with each session

I am not a professional gamer nor do I have much time to invest into a game in one stretch. However I do enjoy the cumulative progress I make with each session I have with the games, specifically progress of acquiring loot, money, powers or in-game materials. Are there any games that try to match my interests?...

Datman2020,

I see some people are confused with what I mean by ‘materialistic progress’. While I have defined it in my post description, I could clarify by saying what I am not looking for, which is progress by practice and playing skills.

While roguelike games offer a lesson on how to master the game with each session, I feel like it doesn’t compensate the loss of all progress after the session’s end. Moreover, as I am not an avid player, I am more prone to making mistakes that would cause me to accidentally lose all the progress I made with my session.

I want to be able to earn bit by bit with each play. I don’t want my session to be in vain when I accidentally do a wrong move with the limited time I get to play. I wish to slowly build upon something that would become big upon weeks or months of gameplay.

Anyways, I would like to thank you for your suggestions. I will check them out!

Datman2020,

Not just that the blocks align perfectly with the shape of the name, but each part of the build is a standalone structure. This is true attention to detail! An awesome build indeed.
