I’ve come to really appreciate when games aren’t merely graphically pretty, but that they also take great care with their use of camera angles and animation in general. I speak particularly of cutscenes and dialogue, but frankly this question applies to the entire game....
I wrote a pretty long comment elsewhere regarding Xenoblade 3, which is pretty much my favourite game of all time in 30+ years of gaming. I guess it would be a cool idea for others to do the same - but don’t just give a list, sell your favourite title to us!...
Most games claim to be a TCG when in fact they are simply CCGs. I know that isn’t easy to create an infrastructure where to allow the exchange between players. The only TCGs I know are (unfortunately) NFT games of dubious quality.
In a since deleted tweet from Bethesda Support, they have informed a user that all physical versions of the game regardless of platform will only contain a code to download the game....
Hey all, I'm just looking for some solid story driven games on Xbox gamepass, that are equally fun to play. I had been recommended the Mass Effect series, and while I believe the story will be great, the first game is an absolute slog to get through right now....
First, some background: I first became aware of PC gaming in 2012 (15yrs after HL1, 7yrs after HL2). I played both games back-to-back and then later replayed both separately....
So my old headset finally fell apart completely. I've been trying to find a fitting replacement, but man is it hard... so here's hoping I can get some guidance here....

For each year, he selects one text adventure that encapsulates what the state of the genre was like for that year. Well, he's recently released it to...
Up until now I was using an XBOX One controller with a clip for attaching your phone, which worked well but was quite unergonomic. I had to keep my wrists in an awkward angle, which made my fingers go numb after a short amount of time....
Just finished Alma's Awakening on PC. It seems like a classic NES Metroidvania game. While I'm not a Metroidvania fan, I hate backtracking and losing out on items because I don't have the skills to get things, it makes this approachable because of teleports. Beautiful pixel graphics, controls are floaty but just like original...
I beat Moon Lord with a friend of mine, I was running a spectre mage setup, while he was playing summoner! Terraria is really good, this was one of the best multiplayer gaming experiences I had.
I recently beat the first boss and am having a good time so far. I find the dodge a bit clunky, but it seems like the game is trying to push you more towards blocking (and perfect blocking)....
