I have a copy of a painting with this building or a very similar. Do you know by chance the name of the painter?

@jcortade Yes. The artist is Avril Paton. The actual building she painted was on Saltoun Street, about a mile from this one. Both tenements were designed by the same architect (Adam and Short) and were built for William Murgatroyd. You can read more about the background to the painting here:
