aeronmelon, “Trying” is a poor wording choice. She succeeded in saving the baby’s life at the expense of her own.

I believe there wasn’t confirmation that the baby survived the surgery when the article was published.
aeronmelon, Because of the way the title was written, I read the article to find out. At the end of it someone is saying they think the baby will be fine.
Also didn’t help that the beginning of the article refers to the baby in the past tense. Someone needs to brush up on the fundamentals.
