Picked this one up a couple weeks ago. I’ve been playing for close to 20 years, and this is the first Les Paul I’ve ever really fallen in love with. The big 50’s neck profile is extremely comfortable, and holy crap do I love these Mini Humbuckers! Even though everyone quotes Spinal Tap when I say it, the sustain is...
For me, I continually watch and listen to new music and guitarists - If i practice the same things over and over and over every day, I will slowly lose interest in playing. Often I find that when i learn something half decent but hit a wall, if i come back to it in 6 months, I can break through that wall easier. It’s all about...
The sign of a thriving guitar community is fools posting photos of their unmodded incredibly popular guitars, so it's an honor to be the first to share this photo of a JMJM here :P It's not even the more desirable model, it's a 2020, and I don't particularly get along with the ToM bridge, but it's mine and I love it all the...

25.5" scale neck, poplar body, coil tapping pickups, knockoff floyd from guitar fetish. The body was dyed using angelus leather dies (recommended by BigDGuitars on yt) it was a good first project to learn on and a lot of fun to make. Picture was taken before I installed the control knobs but it really pops in the sun....
So there appear to be two brand new guitar communities, one here and one at midwest.social. I think we're all probably getting used to how the fediverse version of this kind of social media works, so maybe two aren't necessary?...
A wah pedal is at the top of my wishlist right now. I have been borrowing a crybaby from my friend and it sounds great, but I am wondering if I could get a similar effect with a cheaper wah pedal. Do you feel like the high price of a crybaby is worth it, or do they all sound the same?
I wanted to create this community to talk about all things guitar related. New guitar day (NGD), pics of your favorite guitars, questions about playing or repairs, really anything you can think of. As time allows, I'll try to get us started with pics of my guitars, and playing background....
