I'm sure she went into more details on the announcement stream, but she's also posted a few words on YT community:
My new album is coming, everyone!
The "go-getter" album of all my releases, so to speak...listening back to just the tracks we've already recorded, and the demos I've received, I'm already feeling this as my favorite release so far.
Studio sessions went from 3 hours to 7 hours, and I'm really thinking critically about my work these days, and what you guys hear. But worry not, I'm still having a good time!
Truth is, it was rough before working on this album. I really felt like music was becoming something hard for me to listen to and engage with, and there are various reasons but slowly and surely I began listening to music again and loving it, just as I used to. I think a lot of that shows up in this release.
I don't want to give away too much about the themes this album encompasses, but I'll give you a small idea...the concept of "Pantomime" and putting on a show of how you are feeling, thinking, and showing yourself to the world around you. Every day, we pantomime our ways through life and do what we must for survival in various parts of our lives. Being dragged into different "faces" and masks that we wear, playing multiple roles in the stage show that is our lives.
But beneath the surface, what's actually going on?
I wonder how many actually follow and keep track of lore. Neat video, but personally I’m not big on lore, so it kind of feels odd to need a justification for why Promise is a group.
I do wonder if they plan on expanding to other regions and how that branding goes. For example, would there be a Hololive Europe or is it language based? I suppose region doesn’t really matter unless they plan on building out studios or partnering with studios in those regions. The biggest differentiator has been language.
