Receiving answers from public entities is a utopia, but that's okay... what I really find unbearable is the lack of transparency, lack of information that the public entities themselves should give to people affected by a theft of their data.
I know for a fact that there have been negotiations between the Medusa group and a negotiator from the Hopewell Area School District, negotiations that began 15 days ago but, as you said, there are no communications on the District's website explaining what happened.
The lack of transparency is generally the indicator that makes us understand how superficial a person or, in this case, a (public) Entity can be. I find it reprehensible.
