Replying to posts in the Microblog section seems to autofill pings for everyone in the reply chain. What is the purpose of this? Does this mean that if the @ isn't included the user wouldn't get a notification for the reply, or am I overthinking this?
@onceuponaban It works like twitter/mastodon. they're tweets. creates threads when you respond. if you @ someone they get pinged, etc. everyone in the thread gets notified iirc.
