Am I the only one noticing it about kbin's name?
kbin sounds a lot like kabin, or かびん/花瓶, which means vase in Japanese.

JustAWoopie, Yeah ernest seems to be polish and the polish kbin instance is karab.in. Still it’s kind of a weird name for a link aggregator

ZILtoid1991, To be fair, naming an app for kbin as "Vase" would be pretty dope.
Spuddaccino, I think it’s pretty safe to say that the two terms are unrelated, and that most people on a non-Japanese-speaking community would not make that same connection.
