This feels like a stupid question, but there's plenty of techniques out there that more expert coders use that I don't know about. How do you preserve minor or major changes you may have made to a script made by someone else while still being able to update any new changes they have? Besides the obvious way of saving your...
Update: Version 0.7.7 of Kbin Easy Emoticon enables you to bring up a panel that lists all the commands and their emoticons right there in your current tab. It is much more intuitive and convenient than having to look at the google doc I made. Hope you guys like this update! ❤︎...
Is there a style that allows for pop out pictures and gifs without opening the actual post? I generally prefer just expanding images rather than opening up a link to see them. Lemmyworld and other instances seem to have that available. Anyone know if there's a way to do that with kbin?...
Hi all, is there a userstyle that highlights the OP in the comments? Whether it's a little tag that says OP or their name is just highlighted somehow? I haven't seen anything but I could've missed it.
While browsing the site these past few days I noticed that some important-seeming elements like the pinned post indicator, post type indicators, and so on often seemed to get lost in the rest of the page. I made this style mostly for myself to fix those issues and a handful of other design gripes I had, but I thought I'd share...
For a long while, I've been wishing that the federation awareness tool in Kbin Enhancement Suite (KES) applied to microblog posts and activity pages, so I decided to make that in the form of a userstyle!...
Lemmy federates code blocks with additional tags added in on each line which /kbin just treats as plaintext (it should really strip them out or treat them as tags, not plaintext)....
A couple of weeks ago, @shazbot made this post about a project that they were working on. Since then, @shazbot, @ori, @minnieo and I have been hard at work, and we are excited to finally announce the official release of kbin Enhancement Suite (KES)!...
I'm trying to move from Chrome to Duckduckgo browser, but I'm missing some extensions, among which is Tampermonkey. Does anyone have an idea how to get it to work? Thanks!
Hello, this theme is focused on high readability and removing extraneous visual widgets and icons. It is based on the way I liked to read content on that "other site."...
Is there anyway we could combine all the best aspects of these awesome UserScript and UserStyle enhancements into a single super script? If so, this could potentially be reworked for a pull request to the kbin project as a whole.
This userscript adds a checkbox to the sidebar that lets you turn magazine stylesheets on and off. It also remembers if you have a magazine's stylesheet disabled, so when you come back to it later, it'll still be turned off (or back on!)...
