I decided to make some fun small stuff before I get back to my big project. This is the first one that I just finished!

Kind of a late post since I’ve been sick for the last couple of weeks, but here are the three patterns I made and gave out as presents this year! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Hey guys, a while ago I posted about getting some ideas for an app to help track cross-stitching progress....

I haven’t been on Lemmy too much lately for reasons. But here’s my WIP for this Wednesday. It still doesn’t have a head but even then, when the backstitch time comes, is when it will really ✨ pop ✨

DMC S471. It’s described as “satin” but it looked metallic to me. Either way, this stuff is awful. It frays like crazy leaving granny smith colored green fuzz everywhere. It’s slippery and tries to unravel even after you have it stitched into the pattern. It twists around on itself to the point that it acts like it has...

This one is slower going, but I’d say I’m about 50% through this last Christmas present!

I know I should probably just toss them, but the art student in me knows there must be some great use for them I just haven’t thought of yet lol

I’m taking a break from Dracula’s Castle to work on some Christmas gifts! I just need to finish Snoopy’s hat and the rest of the snow on this one!

I was missing about 19 colours for Errol, and that’s far too spicy an all-at-once purchase at UK prices....

I was almost completely done with this section but had to frog half of it and redo it, and it’s STILL off by one row, but I think I can salvage it without having to start all the way over now!...

I posted a terrible picture of this one a few months ago where it was covered in hoop rings and dirty, so I thought I’d give an update with it washed and ironed and put in a nice frame! I’ll be handing it off to my sister for her birthday tomorrow!

I run PK on my phone, which recently got hit by the Android 14 media storage bug (if you’ve not heard of this you probably don’t need to panic, it only affected people with multiple accounts on the phone)....

Despite some initial challenges this is going pretty well now! This is about half of the moon behind some of the castle towers, and those empty blobs at the top will eventually be clouds lol

I’m working on this new piece on black aida and I’m making pretty slow progress just because it’s difficult to see what I’m doing....

I’ve been on a roll and stitched in the dark hours of the morning before work. It’s a fun pattern to work on, but sadly the most colourful (and fun) part is in the center, and I’m done with it....

Now I just need to wash and iron it!

With the big project finished, I embarked on something smaller a month ago…but I put it on hold. Now I’m at it again....

So proud of this. My biggest project yet! It was fun watching it unravel with every planting....

Just an update, I finally got around to washing and ironing this one. When I posted it before I mentioned that I fixed some issues with mismatched flosses using a sharpie and was advised I may not want to wash it in case the sharpie runs. I decided to take that advise at first, but the grime around where the hoop was looked...

Doing some more work on the greenhouse. I have a page and a half left before it’s finished. I think it’s going to be done at least for Halloween. Frame might take longer....
